I love the Nubby's they are cheap about a $1 or so...its the only one my daughter will take. You can get them at Wal Mart
My 13-month-old son has been using sippy cups since he was six months old. However, every kind of "leak-free" or "no-drip" cup we buy, in a month or two it start to leak and of course it makes a mess at home and at his babysitter's.
Can you moms send me your favorite NO-DRIP sippy cups (with valve, without - I don't care) that can last for a while? I appreciate the advice so much!!!

A couple of months ago I came across a sippy cup by Nalgene at the Southlake Town Center at the Container Store. They had pink and blue ones on the back wall by the luggage tags and they also sold replacement stoppers. They were VERY expensive and I bought two at about 7.00 each. Later I went back and bought two more and so far there is no leakage. They hold more than the average sippy cup and I heat milk in the bottom plastic for 73 seconds in my microwave. The top is a kind of hard rubber. I know I have a ridiculous amount of money in sippy cups, but I really love them!

I started looking for this size cup when Platex discontinued making the tall sippy without handles, which was my original favorite.
The best one I have found is Dr. Brown's sippy cups. I ordered them through One Step Ahead. I found them on their on-line catalog.
It has been a great cup for my 13 month old. It has great handles and milk only comes out when he is banging it upside down, or letting it drool out of his mouth. :) Good Luck!
Here is the link if it works.

I vote for playtex as well-we have tried them ALL and this one works the best for us and even when banged really hard or dropped the stopper never comes out of the holes. HTH
I like the playtex ones but the truth is they all eventually leak in my experience. The ones with valves are definitely better; however they will still leak at some point. I think sometimes the child takes a sip but doesn't swallow the liquid so it pools in the sipper part. Also, if left lying upside down on a sofa or some other place, it will eventually leak. Good luck!
The ones that I have found to be the best are the ones that sell for a $1 at Walmart - Nuby. They don't leak, are easy to disassemble to wash and cheap enough to replace periodically.
I also vote for the Playtex cups. We rarely have a drip problem and they get treated pretty badly!
I got my daughter a sippy cup at the grocery store. It's made by Gerber - the one I got is purple w/ pink handles and it has a valve. It doesn't leak at all unless I take the valve out - then when she turns it upside down, it goes everywhere. But with the valve in it's pretty good.
I have to agree with the other few. The nuby cups with the silicone nipples are the best ones. Walmart sell them for like a $1.00. Also, the playtex ones with the handles have also worked great for us as well. Good luck!!! I totally know what you are going through.
I like the Gerber sippy cups with the handles. My 19 month old is tough on them but he has yet to knock out the stopper. And they don't drip at all.
Good Luck,
K.
My daughter started using Nuby sippy cups when she was about 8 months. They do not leak and they last for a good while.
I have had the same Playtex cups for 3 years with a valve. I love them! After a six or seven months, they may start to leak typically from kids biting on the mouth piece, but you can just buy replacement valves - you get like 4 or five in a pack for a dollar or two. I have never had a problem after replacing the valves with them leaking until it is time to change them out again. It is a much cheaper alternative to continually buying new ones!
