I ordered some online but they aren't working. I checked the instructions and tried 6 times, each time after allowing time to cool they all peeled off. Gah! My daughter starts summer camp in two and a half weeks, does anyone have a good recommendation where I can order some iron on labels, sew in labels (for stuff toys/pillows etc...) shoe labels and waterproof labels (for cups, spoons, folks etc...)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I ended up ordering the iron on and waterproof labels on ebay. They work great and was the cheapest price I found. I had to go to another site to get the shoe labels. I found out that the iron on labels weren't working for me because I needed to set my iron hotter and use wax paper on top of the label. I still haven't had any luck finding smaller waterproof labels that work for the smaller items like spoons, folks..etc :(

Try a craft store like Michaels. Something i have done before is just use needle and thread to sew my daughters name onto the tags of clothing.

Did you get yours from Mabel's Labels? Those are the best that I know of.

Fabric stores and craft stores. If you have Joanns, they usually have the ones that you sew in and iron on.

I have been using these labels for years, and they are awesome! Totally waterproof, AND they stick on the clothing label instead of iron-on. (They will also stick on t-shirts that do not have a "tag" label - just stick them right to the fabric and they'll stay on just fine.)

Last year I bought the "camp pack" and it was way more than enough - so we are also using the labels on this year's camp clothing. It also comes with labels so you can label things like shampoo bottles, toothbrushes, shoes, you name it. Great quality!
