Need Income with Leaving Home

Since I gave birth to my son, I have been home. I am unable to go back to work outside the home because of the cost of child care. Before anyone goes off on government funded programs, we do not qualify for any, not even WIC can help us with food. The oether reason I cannot work outside the home is based on religious beliefs.

Now I am stuck trying to find something that I can do in a corner of my house while my children are watching tv or sleeping. It is hard for me to do something that is consistent from day to day as my son is teething and his sleep patterns change from day to day depending on how he is feeling. I cannot even get yard work done.

I also do not have the money to hire babysitters to watch my kids for anything that requires shows outside the home. Also, I cannot spend a lot of time on the phone as our only phones are our cells. What I need is something that only requires my computer. I have all I need for design work, except perhaps a tight restraint on time.

If anyone out there has any suggestions of proven work-from-home programs, I am all ears. Oh, and I cannot afford to invest any more than about $100 up front. Even that is going to be difficult. Also, if you know of any government programs that provide grants (not loans) for starting a business, that would be helpful as well.

Thank you for any and all suggestions!

What can I do next?

Hi sahra, i totally know how you feel. I have been a sahm for two years now. My husband has a good job,but he has to work 10 to12 hours a day just to pay our bills and even then somtimes they don't all get paid we don't qualify for any creditcard but i guess thats a good thing. It's just so hard the only thing that keeps us going is our wonderfull daughter i just wish we could give her more she only really gets to see her daddy one day a week and he wants to spend all his time available with her witch i don't plame him but our time togather is little to next to none. I tried to find a work from home job but as you stated it all cost to much since it's all just a chance. Anyway if you find somthing please let me know.

I was in the same boat for a while. A friends of mine told me about Avon. There are a lot of ways to run it and you can make a killing online. Thats how she runs hers and she said it only took 60$ to get started. If you want take this link I'll put below and take a browse. And if I find anything else. I'll help out.

Good luck!

Hi S.,

If you would like to just try out doing home parties, but without shelling out a bunch of money to get started, please go to my site at www.partylite.biz/votiveconfidence. Unlike almost every other home party company out there, PartyLite gives you the opportunity to try it out for FREE (and if you start in June, you can get an extra $75 in product for yourself or your kit for $12!!). If you find it's not for you, you get to keep your kit, the money you've made so far and walk away, no catch. The great thing is you also have support and training from people who have been where you are in your business, business aids, etc. and there is no limit on how much you can make...it's up to you if you want to make $300/month or $300,000+. You also don't have to worry about making deliveries, keeping inventory to sell others, and again, no investment! Not to mention, who doesn't love candles?

I hope you'll at least go to my website and look it over. If you would like more information (no pressure, that's just not my style), just fill out the Contact Me page on my site and I can send you a CD-Rom and some other info so you can make an informed decision.

Thanks again,
A.
