I have waited too long to buy big brother/sister tshirts for my 4 yr old and 17 month old to wear up to the hospital. The hospital I am using is moving their gift shop and no longer has the tshirts for sale so I decide to make some myself. I have only one idea so far and that is to put thier handprints on a shirt and write I'm the big brother/sister. I want to make more than one shirt so they will have one for each day we are at the hospital but I am coming up blank on ideas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

You could use sponges to paint with..
And see if they have any iron ons that say what you want.
Ridgmar mall has a store that does that spray painting on shirts bet they arent too busy right around now.

The easiest thing we've done...is to buy the iron on transfer paper. We print out (on the computer)what we want on the paper then iron it on to a t shirt. So easy...no messy painting...and you can put pictures on it too.
Good luck and congratulations!

I don't really have a creative bug, but I would let them wear their handprint shirts the day the baby is born and when the nurse stamp the baby's prints get her to put the baby's prints on the kid's shirts too. Most all will do this. Depending on the stamp pad ink they use, it could wash off so you might be aware of that before you wash them. But it is so neat to see all those different size prints on there...

Also feet print make a cute butterfly (each foot as a wing then draw the rest- just a thought)

Can you try for Feb 4th?? THat is my birthday :) Hee hee...

Good luck and congrats!!

My mom bought the shirts and the fabric paint at Hobby Lobby and wrote on my daughters... I'm the big sister. then she hot glued some sequins to it. It has lasted through many washings and my daughter is still proud of it even though it is too small to wear. Believe me I am no artist but the fabric paint is so easy to use that even I have made some cute shirts with it.
Congratulations
