We have hired an awesome Nanny since I decided to go back to work. She comes to our home every morning after I leave for work, but before my husband leaves. She allows him to get ready in peace too! She is just a great person. I have come home from work several times to the dishes done or the clothes folded. Tonight I came home early (I do this every so often just to check in) and she had made us dessert.
How can I show her how greatful we are to have her? I thought about a gift certificate, but she is on a diet and I don't want to ruin it.

since she is on a diet, maybe you could get her a gift card to a clothing store to buy herself some new clothes when she loses the weight? I know that my nanny LOVES Hollister....just a thought....

Try a gift card not related to food. Engage her in conversation and find out the shops that she likes or the things she likes to do when she's not nanny-ing. Hope you can be generous - it sounds as if you have a gem!
