I know there is some real expensive prescription stuff out on the market, but also some cheap stuff that will work well, too. Check out... http://www.dirtdoctor.com/view_question.php?id=116
The Dirt Doctor, our local organic lawn guy, has had some people get fantastic results from using cornmeal! It's also a great fungicide for your lawn.

hi G.,
well i currently work part time for a podiatrist( foot doctor) and what he recommends to all the patients is lamisil. its treats nail fungus. its very expensive if you dont have health insurance but works very well.( mexicos version works just as good) if the nail is moderate than a mere 3 months of treatment is good, if its severe than a docctor will remove the nail have you take lamisil and the nail goes in new w/out the fungus.. I personally recomend this treatment my mom took it and my cousin and it did miracles for their toes.

I am using a prescription of Fluocinonide Topical solution, just one drop to the nail twice a day will fix it, but I forget to use it all the time and therefore it is taking mine a while to be cured. It only cost $5, but not sure if that is because of insurance or not.

Tea tree oil. I get it through Melaleuca. It kills fungus. They actually have an antifungal cream that is amazing with the tea tree oil in it. Let me know if you want to try it and I'll help you get some. It's 100% satisfaction gauranteed. N. ###-###-#### ____@____.com

You would need a prescription for Lamisil. It's in pill form and you take it for a few months. You also need to be monitored by the doctor because they need to do a blood test while you take it to make sure it is not doing any harm to your liver. I had to take Lamisil for the same problem a few years ago. It takes awhile to clear up, because you basically have to wait for the new nail to start growing in, but it works very well. Good luck!
