Need Childcare in Bloomington, IL

My husband and I are adopting and the agency wanted us to have a daycare/in-home childcare picked out, so we just went through this. I would strongly recommend going through the child resource and referral network in Bloomington. They were great to work with. Just call them and tell them what you are interested in and they will help you find someone with all the qualifications that you want. We found someone here in Heyworth where we live for very reasonable, and she is also very trustworthy. We've met with her and I would feel confortable leaving my child with her. For a center, Katie's Kids is great!! But, it is pretty pricey...although, very worth the $$. I also know a lady who watches kids with her friend in-home. I only know one of the ladies personally, and I love her!! She watches my boys when my husband and I go out and I trust her more than anyone else. If you're interested, I can give you more info - just let me know.

I agree with the other response. Call the Child Care Resource and Referral Network. They have lists of daycares in this area and they have all the pros and cons about them. And if you would like to meet other moms your age, I am 24 and have 2 kids, my friend BJ is 23 and has 2, and my friend Krys is 22 and just had her first.
