Okay ladies! Since you were so helpful with my last request, I'm asking your help again. I want to get my best friend and her fiance a night out on the town for Christmas. My boyfriend and I are going in together and getting them a gift certificate or two and a free night of babysitting from us. We are looking to spend about $100 total. We'd like to do something a little unusual rather than the regular dinner and a movie. They are both 26 years old and enjoy a wide variety of foods and activities and are always up for trying new things. They live in Watauga but if it's something worthwhile I'm sure they wouldn't mind travelling a bit. So what awesome ideas do you ladies have?

So What Happened?

I decided on a gift certificate to Italian Inn on Camp Bowie and instead of going out afterwards, I just got them a Blockbuster gift card, a bottle of wine and some chocolates and a homemade coupon for babysitting. Turns out they've been to the Italian Inn before but they loved the gift nonetheless. Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!

You could get them a gift certificate to Itilian Inn on Camp Bowie. Its romantic and fun. the resturant is under ground and has cute booths that you can shut the shutters on. Also after 6pm they have a panio player. Its wonderful food and a cool atmosphere. You should call ahead to request a booth if its a weekend everyone wants one. You can bring whiteout or a marker and write on the walls in the booth too. We did this for my hubbys b-day and he loved it. We also went to Game Works afterwards to play games (Thurs is $10.00/person for all the games you want 7pm-close). They also have a bar and serve snack type food. We are 26 and 27 and are adventerous and this was shuch a good combo for us and we had a blast. Well good luck~!

I've only been once myself, but I have heard that downtown Fort Worth has some cool things to do. I remember reading in the paper not too long ago about some new bars/lounges that recently opened...they sounded pretty nice. Anyway, here is a link to sundance square...good luck! Hope they have a great time!

I'm not so sure of just how far of a drive it would be for them, but I have always wanted to go to the reunion towers downtown Dallas. (the one that is shaped like a huge microphone) I heard that the food is really nice, pricy but nice. Plus it's very formal and the whole place slowly spins around while you eat. (I don't truly know all of this personally so) LOL

We LOVE to go to a restaurant called Byblos in downtown Fort Worth. It serves Lebanese food, has belly dancers on Fri & Sat night, great drinks and dessert and a Hookah Lounge. I don't smoke but will partak of a Hookah!! VERY FUN PLACE! http://www.byblostx.com/

In downtown they also have a improv comedy group called four day weekend that is a blast. It's like who's line is it anyway and always a good time. They even pick audience members out to help at times lol. They have a bar inside if they drink and tons of places to eat for dinner and or just dessert all around. I THINK their website is fourdayweekend.com. Last I knew it was $15 a ticket and the show is about an hour to an hour and a half. Well worth it!
