We are moving to Ft. Worth from the San Francisco Bay Area within the month and are coming out this weekend to find a place to live. We're thinking of landing in an apartment complex until we get our bearings. Can anyone suggest a good service for showing us a few options?

you can go online and use www.apartmentguide.com or just google fort worth Apartment Locators. Either will work. The Apartment Guide will work and show you inside and outside pictures of the community and apartments as well as pictures of floorplans. I used to lease apartments and alot of people used it. It is free. So are the locators but sometimes they push you to places that they will make more money at. I hope that this helps!
I live in Keller which is absolutely awesome with a great school district! I manage an apartment community in Highland Park which is in Dallas so I know many many locators/realtors, but mostly in Dallas. We moved here from LA and lived in Monta Vista on Bryant Irvin for a few months until we found our house. I think they offer month to month leases. If you know roughly what area of town you want to live in, its good to try to find an apartment in or near that part of town.
