My son has the exact same bed. I saw it frequently for sale on craigslist, so try looking there. I actually ended up buying mine at Once upon a Child.

I would try their website http://www.littletikes.com/
you can look for one second hand at craigslist.com. i just bought my son a little tikes bed (not the race car one) on there and there are usually a lot of them on there, but i'm not sure where they are made, you'd have to ask little tikes that. good luck!
In regards to Blue Race Car Bed, if you want you can go to a resale children's store such as Kid to Kid in Ahwatukee - I10/Ray Rd (www.kidtokid.com), Once Upon A Child on Warner/Alma School (www.ouac.com), or Children's Orchard in Gilbert - Warner/Lindsay (www.childrensorchard.com) and call around to see if they have one or check out Craigslist www.craigslist/phoenix.
Go to Potato Barn on Williams Field Rd. Drive East on Williams Field and you should see it on the right hand side. Check out this website for info and reviews. It's suppose to be a knock off of Pottery Barn furniture. MY husband says it's expensive but that's probably as American you can get since it's Made in Arizona. http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3709817613
I don't know if they make toddler beds but you can call or see if they have a twin bed that will be more functionable and worthwhile in the long run. My son never slept in a toddler bed. But my 2nd one might sleep in the crib that turns into a toddler bed later on. We got that crib at Walmart 4 years ago and it still works great.
Good Luck!
They have that bed at Toys 'R' Us, but I'm not sure if it was made in America.
