have you tried the YMCA? i know they have classes etc
I am a SAHM, I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter and a 7 1/2 month old son. The only activity we have outside the home is "Storytime" at the library once a week. I think my daughter is ready for more interaction with children her own age, but all of the daycares I checked into only let you bring them full time, and I would only want something a couple of days a week. I was also thinking about maybe signing her up for some sort of dance class, but I am not sure if she is old enough. Please help....I feel like she needs more than her mom and her baby brother all day everyday.

Hi S.
I take my daughter to gymnastics once a week at The Little Gym she is only 10 months old and at that age it is really a mommy and me class but she loves it and I believe that they only take children not teenagers and I don't believe it is competitive, we go once a week and all the other moms are great and I love her teacher you might want to check that out, we are also doing swim lessons at the YMCA, not as much fun but it gets me out of the house.
S.,
Check out all the local Christain churches, most of them have mother's day out where she can go 2 days a week from like 8:00-12:00. It's perfect for her age. Be prepared for some separation anxiety though, it's hard to leave mama when that's all you know. Also kindermusic in the woodlands, close to your zip code is great for small children, maybe better than dance.
Hello S.,
My daughter is 28-mons and I am looking for a playmate for her. We live in Jersey Village. My son attends Lakewood Private School one day a week. They also have 2 and 3 days or full=time. I recently took my daughter to a gymnastics place called K-2 Academy that's opened to the public on fridays from 11-1. She loved it. It's located on Louetta and N. Eldridge prkwy. I'm not sure where u live.
Good luck,
J.
Hi S.. My name is C. G. I also live in Spring, @ 2920 and Kuykendahl. I have recently become a stay at home mom and was looking to watch 1-2 children, full or part time. Siblings would be great if I watch mutiples! I have a 7 year old daughter that is out of school for the summer and she is also a huge help. I had a son, Maddox who just turned 3 months old on the 16th of this month. I have a big house with lots to do and I'm very responsible and love children. I believe in giving each child extra one on one time and doing activities with them, as with daycare the child to teacher ration is usually high. I would love to discuss the opportunity to watch your child(ren) with you, for part time if that is what you'd like so you can have your own mommy time. I can give you references from my friends and would welcome you to call me to talk and/or come by my home to meet my family and check out the enviroment to see if you would feel comfortable. {Please contact me) ____@____.com or if you'd like to call me please email for my number, as I really don't want that to be publicly listed on the internet.
