I want to start looking into homebuying but don't really have much to put down, & will need a pretty cheap house. ($50, $60, $70kish???) We've started looking a couple of times but the real estate agents didn't take us very seriously & eventually quit returning phone calls/emails. We have to be pretty picky since we don't have much, but also can't afford one that needs too much fixing up. If you have any suggestions of a patient real estate agent please let me know. Also, any good lending companies would be great too!!!
We just finished buying a home with Helen Karuba - ###-###-####. She's a mom of twin 10yr old boys, so she's all about good school districts, etc. She helped us a lot, helped us figure out what we wanted, and reassured us when we were frustrated about not finding what we were looking for. I asked her about your $ limit, and she said she can help you, and that the $ amount just limits where you look. Good luck!
I have bought 2 homes from and sold one in the last 5 years with this agent. She is great. She is the sister-in-law of a freind and that is how we found her. She is really great. The last time we bought we probably looked (and I'm not kidding) at close to 50 houses.

I recommend our Ebby agents Carolyn & Ron Jenkins. She is very patient and is all about helping you find the right home. My husband is EXTREMELY picky, but she dealt with him wonderfully. Her and Ron (her husband handles the contracts, closing, etc) are wonderful people. Our best friends recommended them after buying their house 2 years ago and we bought our new home, and sold our old with them this year. They made it very painless.
