Well... I can't help with the library situation, but I felt the same way as you. I was tired of being in the house all the time. I just wanted to get out once in a while and make a little money at the same time. I ended up becoming a Pampered Chef consultant. Basically, people have these shows and invite their friends over, while the consultant makes something yummy using Pampered Chef products. If the people like the products, then they can order some. It did cost a little money to get the kit to be a consultant, but it wasn't that bad, considering what you got in the kit. And it is a lot of fun. I got the chance to hang out with my friends quite a bit because of it. And usually only women have shows, so there's lots of talking and laughing and just having a good time. I liked that about the Pampered Chef. You get to be the boss and make as much money as you want because you get to work when you want. You choose! How great is that? And it's not a pyramid scheme or anything like that. Yes, if you sign up under a higher consultant, I think they're called supervisors once they have five people under them, but they don't really make much money off of you. I think 10% every time you do a show and make money. It doesn't really affect you in any way. At least, it hasn't affected me. I haven't had to give up parts of my paycheck, that is. And at first, I thought if you didn't have at least one show every month then you couldn't be a consultant anymore, but that's not true either. If you go two months without having a show then you lose the points you had earned, but that's it. And the points are for things like appliances or trips to Disneyland. If you care about the points, which I didn't, then you have to have a show every month. But if you don't, you can still be a consultant even if you haven't done a show in 6 months or so. So, if you like cooking and getting together with friends and what not, I would suggest that. Like I said, it's a lot of fun and there's really no pressure. I hope this helped in some way. :)
