Yes, some of us were nauseated 24/7 for 9 months. The more nutrition you get, the easier it will be on you. The baby is getting stronger....Ginger capsules will help a lot. It's a lot more concentrated than ginger ale or ginger snaps and you know you're getting real ginger.

Congratulations!

In two of my pregnancies, I felt nausea toward the end of the pregnancy. According to my midwives, it is not uncommon toward the end of pregnancy to feel that. I really struggled to eat at times. If you're concerned, you should always call your Ob or Midwife. You can even ask a nurse in their offices.

It depends, how random. I had the same issue around the same time in my pregnancy, but it came on me like a heat wave lasted a few minutes @5-10 minutes then subsided and it would happen a few times a day. My Dr. said it was a form of early contractions.

I got excited thinking I would go into labor early- I had to be induced at 40 weeks!!

Good luck

J.,

I had nausea all throughout my pg when I was pg with my daughter. I had to have something in my stomach at all times. But, nausea may be signs of labor and at your stage, you may want to check with your doctors office. Check your diet as well. Any changes canaffect your stomach, especially during pg....as I now cannot drink soda without becoming extremely sick to my stomach! :) hope this helps.

I have four little ones, and I also found that I began getting more nausea again in the last couple of months of my pregnancies. Hang in there--you're in the home stretch!!! :)

With both of my pregnancies my nausea returned in the 3rd trimester. My doctor said this was normal and can be due to the increasing/changing levels of hormones at the end of pregnancy (just like in the beginning of the pregnancy). Make sure to stay hydrated and have small snacks to avoid becoming overly hungry (my nausea would get worse with an empty stomach). It never hurts to put a call in to your doctor to check to make sure the symptoms you are experiencing are normal - they are used to getting these calls and it will give you peace of mind. Good luck with this last stretch of your pregnancy!

You are not alone.

I am 15 weeks pregnant and I have been very sick since I was 4 weeks.
It is driving me CRAZY. I am either throwing up alot or nausia just like you.
I am no good to anyone because I feel so bad and I need to lay down all of the time.

I heard that peppermints help - I tried it and it didn't work for me.
I heard get a lime/lemon scratch it and smell it - I tried that, well I did like the way that it smelt but it didn't help.
I heard of the Ginger - I didn't try that yet - who knows maybe.
I took something the Dr. gave me and all it did was knock me out within 20 minutes and I slept for hours, well that won't do because I already have three kids to take care of.

I really have no advice. : (
I will keep my eye on your post to see if any of the other mama's
have something that has worked for them.

I wish you the best and I hope it ends soon.

I have a question for you, are you having a girl?
I heard that when you are really sick, it's a girl.
So I was just wondering if you are having a girl.

God bless.

I was sick and nauseous for about 8 months with my 2nd child (a boy by the way) - was throwing up every few days. I was even sick the morning I went in for the induction! But the end result was so worth it =)

Nausea and pregnancy go hand in hand. What does your doctor say???

************

Just a note to the mom asking if nausea has anything to do with what gender the baby is. How nauseated you are has NOTHING to do with what gender the baby is. I was sick, and I mean SICK with all 3 of my children....and they were: girl, girl, and boy.
