My 7 year old * who should know better!) got a really small lego stuck up his nose about a month ago. Tweezers got it out just fine.
My two-year-old stuck a cooked pea up his nose. It is visible and so far we have tried sucking it out with a nasal/ear syringe and a straw. My husband tried sucking it out of his nose by mouth and we tried getting him to sniff pepper in order to sneeze it out but he won't sneeze and furthermore he blew on the pepper getting it in his eye. He is breathing fine and is not too bothered by it currently but we really want to avoid a trip to the ER if at all possible. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions we can try. Thanks.

I stuck a dried pinto bean up my nose when I was about 6. I knew it was gonna get stuck. I put my thumb over the unclogged nostil and blew out really hard and after several hard blows it came flying out. try that.
Have you tried squeezing his nose together to sort of crush the pea since it is already cooked, then maybe using the syringe then now that it is smaller to suction! Good luck.
It is going to start to stink. I would just be careful whatever you do, so it doesn't go into the nasal/sinus passage. Will your insurance allow for an office visit to an ENT as opposed to a ER visit?
OMG! I would just take him to the ER.
Good luck
i did the same thing when i was a kid but with a hard pea that came with a pea shooter..the first one my mom got out then i stuck another one way up there right after..you'd think she would have taken it away from but nope she let me continue to play with the peas and shooter..so she took me to my doc and he got it out..i say wait til tomorrow if it doesn't come out take him to the doc..my mom got the first one out with a tweezer
