I am making a menu board to keep me a little more organized with my dinners. I have my regular dinners as well as cards for leftovers, new recipes, going out etc. I want something clever to name my night that I clean out the fridge (eat whatever is left in the fridge and freeze anything that won't get eaten before it goes bad). I would prefer not to have "clean out the fridge" since this is something displayed in my kitchen, and it doesn't sound very pleasant to eat that for dinner. Any fun suggestions?
The menu board is something similar to this http://www.daynamaephotography.com/blog/diy-menu-board/
and this http://www.motherhoodunplugged.com/2012/01/crafting-a-men...
thanks!
Great answers . . . and so quick!

We called is "Smorgasborg" -- I think it is a Scandanavian word for "clean out the fridge before it becomes a giant science project"

We've always called left-overs YMCAs (Yesterday's Meal Cooked Again).
We call it "Mussgoes" as in "Must Go!"
We call that "Stone Soup"
We call that night "FFY"... as in Fend for Yourself! I'll put everything on the table and you eat what you want!
We have a weekly menu on our fridge and it's a life saver! I have all of our regular and "new" recipes on cards in a small photo album. Every Saturday I go through it and pick out what we're having and then have the boys "approve" of what I'm thinking. Once it's on the board... it's the plan.
It saves time and money... and midweek runs to the store!
"Fend for yourself."

Goulash
I like the smorgasborg idea. I think my mom called it goulash, but that sounds like everything is just mixed together.
I have been known to make a face like a scared face, and in a spooky sounding voice, I say "It Came From Out of the Fridge", (like a parody of old silly horror movies). That means that the food on the table was in the fridge and needed to be used up and eaten, but it sounds more fun than "clean out the fridge" or "leftovers".
We have Friday's Free For All. :)
we call it "something out of nothing" night. since you have to make something out of whats left and we make nothing new. you can make some pretty good casseroles / soups / omelettes out of leftovers

I call it Hubby cleans out the fridge cause if he doesn't, he goes to bed hungry, night. Also known as crabby husband night!
We call those survival nights.
Survival weeks are weeks we only eat what we have on hand in the freezer, fridge or pantry. We only shop for bread, milk or eggs, otherwise we have to use what we have in whatever creative capacity we can.
