This may sound kinda silly. I've always clipped his nails on his hands and toes when I was nursing. He was calm and I could just clip away. However, we are starting to wean and I am not nursing as frequently. He won't let me clip his nails! His feet are also really ticklish.. which makes it even harder. Any tips?? He's 14 months old now...

My son is 14 months old too and I sit him in his chair and clip them while he's strapped in. It's still somewhat of a challenge, he's not a huge fan!
When my daughter, we clipped her nails while she was sleeping. It was easier than enduring a fight! :-)

Wait until he's fast asleep. One of the only ways I was able to clip my five year old's nails when they were little.

Have your husband hold him while you clip.
Or visa versa. Then have the other parent distract him with a toy or other things.
My suggestion is after his bath is when to cut his toe nails. So what I did was give my son a bath put him to bed and when he was fast a sleep snip..snip. This is less stressful for all involved.
Try bribing him with ice cream, clip them while he eats it. I know this sounds crazy...but you do what you gotta do!
cut his nails while he is asleep... it is sooo much easier :]
