Hah! There's nothing wrong with him! LOL I walk into to the glass wall at the Apple store and Express rather frequently. It's called 'not paying attention'
My 3 year old son, excited from his haircut at the mall, ran gleefully towards the outside and ran straight into a glass wall. Like one of those birds in the commercial. :( he was more stunned than hurt but I'm just wondering how normal this is? it's not like the glass was THAT clear. Do you think i should be worried about his vision? is this normal for preschoolers to do? Thanks!

My embarrassing moment, and cans say it is very normal no matter how old the person is. At my friends sweet 15 party I ran from the upper floor, through the house and 'out' their sliding glass door. Only it wasn't open, it had been most of the night but not that time. Imagine how stunned I was as I went flying backwards into her parents bed (it was through their room). Not only that but about 60 people saw it. To this day I do not live it down, and that wasn't the first time. That was just the most embaressing.
Two days ago, my youngest 2, walked head first into a parked car because she was amazed by her shadow. As soon as it happened, every looked at me and goes " yep, shes your" it was pretty funny.
Of course it's normal. :-) It's not going to affect his vision or development. Even Justin Bieber does it.
Naw, no need for concern. My kids both did this. My son once went head first into glass like 8 times straight in a mirror maze when he was 4. never did figure out to put his hands out. finally had to go rescue him. love that boy.
It's no only normal for preschoolers, but happens to ALOT of people.
A few years ago, they replaced all the office doors in our office with ones with glass fronts. I had to put a post-it on my boss' door because he continually ran into the door! It was great cheap entertainment!
Oh, gosh. I still occasionally walk into glass walls and screen doors.
Both my daughter (at 5) ran into a glass window and my son weeks ago, he is 8, ran into a screen door that he thought was an open door. Nothing to worry about.
