Who else watches?

I'm hard-core libertarian and I still watch it. Drives my husband crazy. I particularly like Morning Joe and Rachel Maddow. I enjoy their pre-debate shows.

Anyone else do this?

What can I do next?

Not watching pre-debate anything right now. But yes, I like MSNBC and Morning Joe. I especially like Morning Joe BECAUSE there is a republican on there who doesn't just spout party line, but tries to make sense without throwing out sound bites and rhetoric that have nothing to do with the actual topic. (Like throwing dirt on a wall so that some will stick...)

I LOVE Rachel Maddow!!! She is SO smart and witty and can think on her feet. She's an amazing woman.

I guess I'm in the minority. I DO watch MSNBC and find it very informative. It's Fox news that I find offensive and I believe they have an agenda disguised as news to manipulate people, to quote a previous poster. I don't know where Fox gets its facts, but if you do some checking around, a lot of it is false and misinformation.

Frankly, I find Rachel Maddow refreshing, well educated, and more informed than anyone on Fox news.

I can't trust ANYTHING they say. Like I heard someone say the other day, they have an agenda and use their personal, liberal opinions disguised as news to manipulate people.

I watch Fox News. :)

No, and my husband wouldn't let me, not because we agree politically, though we do, but because he hates when I yell at the TV!

I'm a centrist. I support most views that want to help instead of denying though. Morning Joe is a right wing show, so that's interesting you like that show. Rachel Maddow, I just never got on board with her. I certainly do not see MSNBC near as the extremist as FOX News. FOX News talking heads are spin masters! It's quite funny to watch. To me, they are just the bully on the block. I watch network news where their are journalists that do not share their views but report the news.

I watch NBC nighly news and CNBC. I've listened to some of the other news programs and the minute they spout left wing garbage, I change channels and don't go back.

AND, I watched some very right wing news programs and quit watching them too.

I'd rather have my news as unbiased as possible.

Good luck to you and yours.

I have to see the lies. Rachel Maddow only bashes. She takes her 'news' from Fox and dissects it. To me that's not news reporting that's just babble. MSNBC has very low ratings, so they are not worthy anyways.

I enjoy some msnbc shows.

I also watch some Fox garbage occasionally. MOstly for fun, but it's like they just beat the same drum over and over. Kind of boring to me.
I especially like to hear Sean Hannity whine about how mean the Dems are to the Republicans.

I find it odd that people think they are getting "news" from an ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK!

BTW, Momof4--you're completely WRONG about the ratings, it seems that educated (Dem) viewers are more and more turning to MSNBC for actual facts:

FNC was down 4% among Adults 25-54 with 268,000 viewers in the demo. Over the seven-day week MSNBC had 515,000 averaged total day viewers, a 20% rise for the network from the same quarter last year. MSNBC was also up double digits among the demo.

It's been widely shown that the least informed people in the counrty are Fox "News" watchers!
