I wrote in a posting the other day about my midwife thinking my baby is breech now at 33 weeks. You all had great things to share. I did a bunch of research and spoke to my primary and he wants me to do moxibustion and he said its highly effective so now I'm on the search for those of you out there with luck doing this and anyone who has done it at all. He gave me some info and I'm gonna look up some names as well. He also thought accupuncture could help. If anyone has a good name in the Evanston area or nearby that would be awesome. Thanks so much ladies for all your help!

for an acupuncturist look on the Birthlink website - www.birthlink.com. Stephen Bonzak is one that I know. His number is ###-###-####. I believe that he has two offices - one is in Highland park I am not sure where the other is.

you can also contact JoAnne Lindberg about moxibustion - she is a shiatsu practicioner and knowledgeable about moxibustion.

While I don't have personal experience, our Bradley instructor used this method to successfully turn her full breech baby. She also tried a few other methods first. If you would like to contact her then email me privately. I have to warn you that her baby came out with the cord wrapped around his neck 3 times. Her mid-wife had never seen anything like it. Be careful with whatever you try.

Look into webster technique as well with a chiropractor.

Good luck!!

Never hurts to try it - this is the one technique that I never got around to trying with my son (partly because I never found a practicioner in the area). I would just make sure you find someone who has done it many times and has a good success rate.
