P.R.
I just saw This Means War and it was fun! I didn't expect much which always helps but it was funny, fast moving, cute etc. I really liked it.
Need a good recommendation for a movie for a girls night out.
Also needed, another recommendation for a great date movie. Husband
and I don't usually like same kind of movie.
Thanks for any insight.

Ok, if you have access to net flix or a rental place check out Love Stinks with French Stuart. That is the FUNNIEST movie I think I've ever seen. It starts out like a chick flick, but quickly you and your guy will figure out that it is not. It is a great couples comedy.

Yesterday, a friend recommended Hugo.
We saw John Carter at IMAX and I thought it was awesome and would work well either way!
Do you and DH like funny movies? Or action movies? How old do you want them to be? I have no opinion on anything currently showing.
I surprisingly liked The Chronicles of Riddick. DH and I also liked Despicable Me, Mrs. Doubtfire, all of the Lord of the Rings movies and Labyrinth (NOT to be confused with Pan's Labyrinth, which we hated). Our first real date was Hannibal, b/c we both had seen Silence of the Lambs. Umm....yeah. We were friends first, so that helped. Wasn't a first impression and we could laugh about it. We also both liked Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Up.
Girl's Night Out? How girly do you want to be? Stella Got Her Groove Back? Chocolat? Steel Magnolias? Fried Green Tomatoes? Pretty Woman?
ETA: Hugo was good. And so was Secondhand Lions. For either group.
The Halmark channel has some really good happy ending movies. I record them and then fast forward through the commercials.
Hope you have a real nice time. Good luck to you and yours.
Are you looking for movies to watch in theaters now, or movies to watch at home?
Hunger Games is coming out Saturday. Good for a girls night or date night out. I've heard good things about John Carter.
Just wait a bit and do "The Hunger Games" for date night. With the girls I liked "The Vow". More of a rental but worthy of watching.
