my 20 yr old daughter was running her mouth at a get together we had at our home, she was calling other girls rude names, and when I asked her why she was saying those things, when the other girls where not saying anything rude to her first, she states "because it is her house and she can say whatever she want's" is this normal behavior for a 20 yr old girl that is pregnant?

What can I do next?

Age & pregnancy have nothing to do with a decent upbringing & just plain rudeness as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe you should remind her that, No, this was YOUR (meaning you, the parents) home & she is too old to be acting like a child & remind her that she WILL become a mom in a few months (or weeks) & she will have to grow up & take care of the child & set a mature example. Acting like a child is no way for a 20 yr old to act. If she still lives w/you, remind her that allowing her to remain under your roof is not an obligation, it's a privilage & that she embarrassed you in front of your guests (and friends) & she'll not be allowed to participate next time if she continues her immature behavior. If she was a guest as well (and not still living at home) you may want to add that you didn't have to invite her & you won't the next time if she continues this behavior. Hope this helps! Maybe she should take some parenting classes, perhaps that might help??? Good luck!!

Uhhh... Is it her house or yours? Who pays for it? I would respond that it is not your house, it is mine since I pay mortgage / rent, so you will be respectful of any guests we have in *my* house.

No. It is frightening that she is pregnant and behaving in such an immature way. She needs to reign it in and get a grip. If she is keeping her child she needs to realize there is a much bigger picture and it's no longer about her or petty, childish behavior.

No, not normal behavior for anyone. Pregnant or not.
I will edit my post to throw in the acceptable part.
Some behaviors are not acceptable and most kids learn that when they are preschool age.

She's no longer just a girl, she's a woman and will soon be a mother. That's completely unacceptable behavior. I wouldn't allow my ten year old, my 6 year old (who contends with Autism), nor my 2 year old (if she had that vocabulary and ability) to behave so atrociously. That's disgusting and alarming and I feel for the unborn child. Wow... sad state of affairs.
