Hi moms,
I am relatively new to the Denver area. We moved here from Ann Arbor, Michigan where every fall and spring there would be lots of, what were called, "mom-to-mom resales". These were usually held at churches and schools and moms would either sell or buy things from other moms. Basically, it was like a huge garage sale with all sorts of children's clothes, and toys. Does anyone know if they have anything like that in the Denver area?
Yep, it is called Just Between Friends. THere are a couple around town at various times throughout the year.

There are about a dozen sales in the area in the next few weeks. Each sale typically occurs 2x per year, usually in March/April, then again in August/Sept.

Locally most communities offers groups used kids clothing- our church does it once a year kid clothing $.25, fill a kitchen trash bag for $5. Most MOPS (Mother of preschoolers) groups also hold sales, some schools hold sales etc... You can find most of them advertised on Craig'slist under garage sale/ baby and kids.

Although I haven't been in the Denver area for a long time, I have never heard of these sales near here. I, too, lived in Michigan in the past and saw those sales go on. Maybe this is something that should be organized..... I do know that a group of mom's are getting together at the end of the month to have a yard/garage sale to benefit the Denver Komen Race for the Cure.

there is a sale called jbf.com (just between friends) The last one in the area is next weekend - in Denver. Check out the site. It is well organized sale. I just started consigning there and have bought too. There is also mothers of multiples (moms) but more chaotic. Good luck
