Hi B., You may want to pick up an EPT kit to see what it says. You may be pregnant because we are very fertile after giving birth. If you ae not you don't have to wait until next month to find out. Good wishes, Grandma Mary
I just had a baby girl about 10 weeks ago and I've been ok. I got my first period last month and it came and left as a normal period should. However, this month I am experiencing alot of spotting and cramping around the time it should come. About two weeks ago we had an incident with the condoms where it broke as he was ejaculating. I'm not sure if I could be pregnant again but anything is possible with the females body...lol... I just wanna know if any of you guys have experienced these symptom and if so please let me know......
Sorry that I haven't been on this website for a long while but as far as the advice I asked for, thank you to everyone who responded. I found out the problem and it was the fact that I was pregnant again. I had the baby July 10, 2009. And now I have my tubes tied. LOL But thanks again for those who gave me the advise.

You could definately be pregnant. This happened with a friend of mine. She ended up going to the er, because she was having bad stomach cramps and only spotting and it turned out she was pregnant. She was actually almost 10 weeks when she finally found out. Her dr. said you are the most fertile after you have a baby. She thought the spotting for the two months previous was just her body getting back to the normal periods, so she had no clue that she could of been pregnant and was nursing as well.
Good luck, def. take a pregnancy test!
You could get/be pregnant. If your period doesn't come do a home test and talk to your doctor and tell them what happened too. A.
Hi Becky, You could actually be pregnant again. Cramping at the time of your period is very common during early pregnancy.
Here's the thing, you may not be able to hold this pregnancy being that you just gave birth ten weeks ago. You may experience a "late" period in the very near future with lots of cramps and clots which would actually be a miscarriage. Most people don't even realize that they were pregnant when this happens, they just assume their period was delayed and it is extra heavy. On the other hand it is known to happen that women get pregnant right away and carry full term. I guess only time will tell. Good luck either way. Sue
to answer someone elses' post, if you are exclusively nursing on demand, and not giving any pacifiers, and the baby is waking during the night, and you havent had a period, it is like 98% effective as birth control for the first 6 months after the baby is born. of course there is that small chance of exception, and you must do all things listed.
however, for you, it wouldnt matter as you have said you already got your period. in your case, yes, you could be pregnant just based on the timing. just take a test and set your mind at ease. i would use one now, wait a few days and use the other to be sure. however, if you are still in pain, i would see the doc regardless just to make sure. good luck
All I remember is that my first period after my baby was born (about 10 months after, actually) was AWFUL. It was painful, and messy and NOT FUN.
I was pregnant with my 4th child less then 2 months after a c-section with my 3rd. You could definately be pregnant. Take a home test, and if it comes up negative, wait a week and take another one. If after that you are still spotting you should probably see your doctor. If you are pregnant it really is an awesome thing to have children that close together. My little guys love each other soooo much! Please let us know how it turns out.
Are you nursing exclusively? While it is possible to get pregnant at 10 weeks regardless, it's much less likely if you're nursing. I got very random periods the first 6 months post-birth, with heavy bleeding sometimes and barely any bleeding others. Sometimes I had horrible cramping, which my doctor said was normal.
You must be pretty stressed out! Take a preg test. If it's negative, wait a week and try again. If it's still negative after that, you are probably in the clear.
Have you thought about the Mirena?
i don't know why people still think you cannot get pregnant while you are nursing. it is NOT true. you can definitely be pregnant. it happens all the time. i think you are more fertile right after you have a baby. so take a test and find out. take a few tests.
good luck.
