Hi - My baby is due Feb. 6th and I need to find a good Pediatrician, STAT!!! I have heard of Tribecca Pediatrics, and will definitely go to them if I can't find someone up here on the UPPER EAST SIDE, but would love to have someplace within walking distance for both my sake, and the sake of my baby's. Ideally she/he would be on the more liberal, holistic side, or at least just a really nice person!!!

Hey all, thank you so much for your advice... I ended up making a prenatal appointment with Dr. Similan @ Park Ave. Pediatrics for next week. I'm due on the 6th of Feb, so it was really getting close! THANK YOU SO MUCH for recommending them. They were really nice on the phone - I'm sure Dr. Similan will be just as nice.
Try Park Avenue pediatrics (Park ave and 90th) , specifically Dr Similan or Dr Ginsberg. Dr Grunfeld is very old school and can appearagruff so avoid him if you are overly sensitive. I always aked for Dr Ginsburg or Dr Similan and used them throughout my son's five years in Manahattan.
Our pediatrician has been wonderful. Her name is Tracy Gallagher, MD, and her practice is on east 69th Street between 3rd and Lexington. There are three female pediatricians in the practice, so you can call and ask for the most holistic of the three. My daughter, now 8 has been seen by all three, and they are simply wonderful. However, each family is unique on to itself, so even though we love them, make sure you feel good about the practice. Their number is: ###-###-####. All the best to you.

I don't know if my chil'd pediatrician is liberal or holistic, he has such a nice sweet patient smile i couldn't resist to register my son once I sow him. My child is 2.5y now and his ped. is Doc. Similon, from Park Ave Pediatrics, 1111 Park Ave on 90th street. Let me know....

i was going to suggest same place upper e side pedoatrics, and i agree -don't see dr. Grunfield !!! otherwise its a good office
