I don't know of any opthamologists in the area or nearby, can any moms out there suggest someone that is experienced with children? Is there such thing as pediatric ophtamologists?

There is an eye doctor, Dr. Blake, on 103rd street between Longwood Dr. and the Metra tracks. My whole family used to see her when we lived in Beverly. She is very thorough, and I really liked her.

Dr. Atkenson of American Vision in Oak Lawn is really good. Number is ###-###-####. He discovered a problem with my nephew's vision that another eye doc missed.
If bigger issue, Dr. Tiko of Oak Lawn is also highly respected - not sure if i'm spelling it right.
