When I lived in Michigan I used to go to these sales called Mom 2 Mom sales. These Mom 2 Mom sales are usually held in a church or school and they are set up with tons of tables for rent by moms so they can sell anything from newborn clothes to big kids clothes, from infant toys to potty chairs. How it works is a table is for rent and you can sell your old kids clothes/toys/training things. I liked it because it was like i was going to Garage Sale to Garage Sale all in one building of just baby/kids items.
I was wondering if anywhere in the Bradenton/Sarasota area has anything like it. I will list the website I used to go to when I lived in Michigan to find out when the all the mom 2 mom sales where going on and when the sales were held. www.mom2momlist.com
I think itwould be a great idea. Let medo some research and see what I can dot about getting one going maybe in August. I am in the Bradenton Jaycees and this may be right up there alley.
I went to the LWR growing up sale for the first time this year and it was WONDERFUL to say the least! It was very crowded so I was glad I did not bring my 2yr. old. I was able to move around fast without distraction and do what I call Power Shopping. :) I wish all the moms groups out there would do these sales because it is a great way to recycle things plus make some money. Anyone planning one soon????
Never heard of this. But is a great idea, don't think it would be hard to set up.

I belong to the Lakewood Ranch Moms Group and we do a sell like this once a year. We call it a Growing Up Sale. There is always a lot of ads in the local papers about it before it happens with the date and time, etc. We hold it at Town Hall in LWR on LWR blvd. We had it in April, so the next one will be in April or close to that. Keep an eye out in the Observer, and Bradenton, LWR herald papers starting n Feb., Mar. Hope this helps.
