I was wondering if there were any moms out there that have their young children in any kind of modeling...my 15 month old daughter is going to be in her first baby pageant this weekend and there are going to be scouts there...not to sound like a conceited mom or anything like that shes a gorgeous little girl and even the modeling agency's employees have gone on and on about her looks and petite size, so they are going to have the scouts sit down and talk with us. Ive never had any experience in the child modeling area and was wondering if any moms can give me an idea of what there is to come.

What can I do next?

Whatever you decide (if you want your daughter to model), don't spend a dime! Not even for photos. The reputable, GOOD agencies just need a regular old picture and interview with your daughter.......people are scammed all the time. The minute someone talks about what YOU have to pay -- walk out. If you have an easy-going child who is cute, they'll always pay YOU! Don't believe the liars!

exactly, they should have a digital or polaroid to take a pic of your little one. Shouldnt cost you anything. later on, if you want, you can do head shots but babies change sooo fast, they dont normally recommend them.

I agree with Amanda, I would explore all the aspects of what it would be like for your daughter at that tender age. We all want to show off our children, but we have to take their emotional well-being into account.
