Go see your ob doctor asap.
I got the Mirena IUD on October 25, so its almost been two months. It was fine in November, but now its beginning to hurt when i move in a different way.
Like if i put my knees up, or when i try to get up. I dont understand why it hurts so bad. But it always gives a sharp pain.
What should i do??
Go see your ob doctor asap.
Women who are under 5' 4" in height have difficulty with IUD's. You may also have a particular problem with the IUD. Go to your doctor. You need professional help with this problem.
If you are short don't keep the IUD.
ooh, that sounds painful, annoying, uncomfortable! i'm sorry. :(
i've had mine almost two years and NEVER felt anything. i have stupid side effects, but never actually felt the thing...i didn't think you were supposed to! :(
anyway, give your doc a call and tell 'em. i'm sure they'll ask you to come in so they can fix it real quick. if it were me, i wouldn't wait b/c that's gotta be a weird feeling and you're really not supposed to be feeling it like that! :)
sorry sweetie. :)
I'd get it out or at the very least go in to have it checked. The IUD gan migrate through the walls of the uterus and sometimes go floating around in your abdominal cavity. Yuck! I had one for a year and half, but I gained 20 lbs, lost my lovely flat stomach and ceased having a period, which sounds like heaven to some women, but I realize that I need that release. It feels to weird to never have a period.
Mine hurt until about 8 months after being inserted. It would feel like something was poking me at times and if I bent curtain ways. You could try getting the string shortened or just wait for it to settle.
Sweety you need to get to the dr. It could ahve pull out a little and you dont want it to put a hole lining or any part of you for that matter. Go to the Dr right away. You shouldnt feel anything once they put it in if its done right.
I had problems with mine too. It was fine the first few months, until my hubby got back from deployment and we resumed our love life. It started to hurt more and more. I went to my OB and she "adjusted" it. Same problems after another month or so. Ended up having it totally removed after about 8 months total time in. THEN I hear from my mid-wife that about 90% of women have problems with IUD's!!! Well, that would have been helpful to know BEFORE I opted to have the darn thing put in. Good luck, Hon, get to your Dr. ASAP.
