Michael Buble or Wicked ... Which Would You Do???

Should we go to Michael Buble concert or Wicked? Here is the issue ... hubby found 4th row tickets for Wicked but it's the same night as Michael Buble concert (which our tickets for that would be nosebleed seats ... not that we care much about that ... but about the same price as the 4th row Wicked tickets). We've been to Wicked many times but never that close and have never been to a Michael Buble concert. What would everyone else do? Would love any and all opinions! Thanks :)

ADDED: Thanks for all the opinions and views! I still couldn't choose so I told my hubby to surprise me so I won't know which one we are doing until we get there :) I will let you all know what happens when I know ... lol! Thanks again!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well, we ended up at WICKED :) It was amazing to be in the 4th row ... everything seemed so different being that close. I am really glad that my hubby picked this to go to ... how could he pass up such great seats! Thanks again for all the opinions :)

I love both -- but I'd say since you've seen Wicked many times and Michael Buble zero, see Michael Buble.

(Response to Sherry, below: I LOVE Joseph and the Amazing Tech. Dreamcoat -- have seen it a few times, but actually saw a disappointing version in So Cal. last year. Didn't think it was possible to ruin Joseph.)

if you have been to wicked that many times go see michael buble. i would have chosen that anyway lol. i have seen wicked in chicago. it was good but nothing i would have spent the money to see again. (we spent the money for good seats to Joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat 4 times downtown chicago lol)

You're asking the wrong person...but I"m answering anyway! LOL. Michael Buble for sure!! But I say that because I love his music enough to suffer through sitting in nosebleed seats despite being absolutely terrified of heights! :o

In all fairness, as I'm hopelessly fanatical about M.B. and you may not be, I guess it boils down to are you more interested in comfort and a pleasant experience on the town with your man, versus seeing and hearing an act you haven't experienced before.

I guess you need to ask yourselves, what do you hope to gain from your date together? Memories and a predictible but solidly good evening at Wicked, or a chance at something different, probably fun, but probably not perfect as far as accommodations not entertainment goes (however his music can be romantic and that might make up for the less than romantic seating).

We sat up close for Wicked and wished we had sat further back. It so wasn't worth it. I LOVED the play but I felt we could have seen everything better if we hadn't sat up so close. I would go to Michael Buble.

I was all ready to say Wicked, but since you have seen it "many times", I wonder at the benefit of going again! I would opt for a new experience. You can send me the Wicked tickets :D ha ha! Good luck deciding- either way you will have fun.

Tough one. I wanted to take dd to see Wicked for her 16th birthday, as it was here on her birthday..we just could not swing the $$. I was bummed

But as I read this question, I have MB playing on my Zune account thru my computer (Michael Buble "Special Delivery"...6 songs...)...tough choices for sure! Good luck!

Green with envy either way!

Neither. You've seen Wicked and Buble is awful. Check out Blue Man Group or Late Night Catechism in your town the same night, both are excellent!

Buble. But I like his music a lot. I've never heard a lot about Wicked. I know what it is, but don't know enough about it to want to go.

take the good seats. everytime. Buble is good, but not as many hit songs that you will get as with Wicked. Plus costumes and sets. It will visually be a better show and being so close, you get a great perspective. I've been to nose bleed concerts. You don't see much and the sound quality isnt that great in the rafters. I dont like to pay money just to say I was in the building.
