I am trying to find a good place to take a 5 boy & almost 2 year old girl to play for my 5 year olds birthday! I have taken them to some of the bounce houses, some good, more than some are a rip off. Where have you taken your kids and had a blast?
We've been to Makutus Island in Tempe a couple times and the kids (ages 4 and 5) have loved it. It's much newer and better maintained than Jambo. Amazing Jakes is fun but a little pricey. Not sure what the prices are like at Makutus because we were guests.
You may want to check out Jambo park. They are redoing the one in Phoenix. The one in Mesa is okay. It is pretty run down, but the kids don't seem to mind. They can get lost in their climber for hours. I think it is worth the $5 (sign up for their e-mail to get the "green code" and you can get in for $5). Not sure how their birthday parties work, but most people don't know about it. You can also try Matuku's island. I have never been, but I have had two different people tell me it was great.
If you don't have a pool there is a public one on Southern just east of Ironwood I believe. Its on the south side of the street. Its $1 for kids and $2 for adults and you can take your own drinks and food in. There are 2 slides and other water activities for the kids. Not sure if they are open yet but you can check. There's also Jeepers and Amazing Jakes, both I think in Mesa/Gilbert area. Good luck.
My kids really like Chuck E Cheese on Southern near Power. You can usually get coupons/discounts by signing up on their website.
