Hi mama's,
I am having a hard time locating Mothers Day Out programs in my area. I just don't know how to locate them. Does anyone have any suggestions on a MDO program for my now 11 month old.
Thanks,
F.

My daughter goes to Firewheel Fellowship Bible Church for MDO on Mondays and Wednesdays and a Reading Program on Fridays, so she is in "school" three days a week from 9-2. She LOVES it. She has learned a LOT. There are 2 teachers per 10-12 kids. They have a reading, Spanish, music, and PE time as well as play, nap, lunch, and manipulatives (puzzles, etc) time. I recommend it!
I also interviewed the Arapaho Road Baptist Church program (at Arapaho & Shiloh) and I liked their program. I chose the other for location purposes. Good luck!
I remember feeling "lost" when looking for a MDO program. I just made a list of questions about the programs and started calling. I wanted to make sure the employees were mature and CPR certified with background checks performed, and that the facility had some sort of security as well as strict pickup/drop off rules (can't be too careful!).
Take care,
L.
My children attend MDO at The Heights Baptist Church, located at the corner of Central/Hwy 75 and Renner Rd. in Richardson. They love it! I really like the teachers as well, they are very caring and compassionate, patient with the children. Also the student/teacher ratio is very low (about 10 students with 2-3 teachers per classroom!)
I believe their website is theheights.org
I know of one at Independence and Ridgeview in plano. It's one block South of 121 on Independence. Cornerstone Church. It's great! ###-###-####. Ask for Staci Hall. She is usually their on Tues, Wed, and Thurs. They have a summer program too.
