Hey .. anyone want to recommend a preschool for me .... something for a 4 year old. I know churches often have a 'preschools'. Several have already filled up ... we've recently moved to Texas ... so I'm trying to find something for my precious little girl. :-) My preference would be a 3 day program.

Welcome to TX! OK, I do not have a kiddo yet, but have heard great things about Good Shepherd Montessori School in Mckinney...try calling them! I called to see if they have an infant program for mine that is due in a few weeks and they don't. My friend took her little boy there and said she loved it!

Many MDO and other programs are out for the summer, so you may have a tough time finding that perfect place. I do have another alternative for you. My son attends a church-based MDO program that is YEAR AROUND!! PTL!! He attends their 3 days and has been since June 2005. If you want more info on it, either email me at ____@____.com or look up their website at www.harborpointcc.org and click on Kids Kove. Pat Bray is the director there and a nice lady. Set up an appointment to tour the facility. They are located in Plano off of Preimier & Parker.

My son is just completing kindergarten at Faith Christian Academy. We will be keeping him there for his 1st grade year as well. We have been very pleased with their program and the teachers are outstanding! They are located on Eldorado/Industrial East of 75. It would be a quick trip from Allen!

Try Discovery Days at First Baptist Church of Allen or Messiah's Lambs School at Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano. We have attended both programs and LOVED them both. Good luck!
My son is 3 1/2 and goes to Suncreek Children's Development Center on McDermott in Allen. The 4 year olds go M,W,F from 9-2. We love it! I am just so happy with the teachers, director and everyone we have met there. They all genuinely care about the children. You don't have to be a member of the church or anything, although we are and love the church also.
