Look into the Mary Kay lash lenthening or ultimate mascara...both come in black and black/brown. Also try using an eye make-up remover. It won't leave you with racoon eyes, flakes or dark circles.
Hi Ladies. I am frustrated with the current mascaras I have and want something like the Revlon Color Stay mascara I had which they dont seem to sell anymore. I liked that one because it went on and it would stay on for a couple days, the color stayed on, which was SO nice because I have fair blonde eyelashes and dislike putting make up on everyday. (I stay home M, W, F & Sat, so really only need to put it on T/Th/Sun's. But I like to look not so naked, or racoon-eyed from the undereye smear on the in-between days)
So, recommendations?? I want something that does NOT clump, that is hypoallergenic if possible (I notice my eyes tend to tear up and blink a lot more when I am wearing mascara???) and something that goes on nicely, makes my eyes look nice and I guess I want it to not wash off my lashes but definitely has to wash off my skin easily, I hate the black circles that are hard to get off (I use soap, which is not fun for my eyes)

Have you considered having your lashes dyed? It is not very expensive and makes a huge difference. I have good friend that has hers done.. I had no idea till she told me.. She says even though her hair is brown her lashes are naturally blonde and very short..
Also use eye cream to take off mascara instead of soap..
I have a different recommendation. Look into your loal salon and consider dying your eyelashes. I sing and hate to wear mascara on stage because of the heat of the lights. So when I am on tour I get my eyelashes dyed to deal with the negatives of mascara. It lasts about 6 weeks and no clumping.
I have lots of lashes so clumping is a big concern. I love Urban Decay's mascara. It doesn't leave black circles and doesn't make my eyes tear. Since it is water-proof, it's best to remove with eye make-up remover.
The mascara I always use is Almay - one coat nourishing mascara (Thickening Waterproof). It's relatively cheap ($5 or so) and comes in a white bottle with a blue lid. It doesn't clump if you put it on right. I, too, am hypoallergenic so most of my makeup comes from almay. My eyes DO water when I have makeup on, but I've discovered that's from my foundation and eyeshadow, not mascara. Because it's waterproof, it's oil-based; this means you /may/ be able to wash it off with soap, but I uses oil-based makeup remover. Sometimes it will make the black circles, but that's only if you "blink really hard" right after putting it on. I have blond lashes, just like my hair, so this helps wonders. For the price, I'd say it's the best around... But if you're looking for better quality (not so worried about the price) you might choose one of the more expensive kind. Hope I helped!

As another mom mentioned, eye makeup remover works wonders to take it off.
Happy to help!

Once I tried Blinc Mascara, I could never go back to the others. It is a little pricey ($25) but works great. It goes on your lashes in tubes and only comes off when exposed to warm water and gently rubbed. Sounds like exactly what you need. There are never any black circles. Good luck!
Cover Girl Washable Waterproof mascara!! ...Been using it for years!
You can buy Revlon Colorstay mascara on line. Just google it. Ebay, drugstore.com etc. Sometimes they discontinue the formula for the stores but have tons to sell well before they expire so you can stock up on line, till you investigate alternatives.
I also use Mary Kay Ultimate mascara... Wonderful! Amy P is a fantastic consultant... You should definitely get free sample of the mascara.
Also... Please make sure you wash off your mascara every night... The eye mites that live in your lashes will use the mascara as food, lay eggs and reproduce a lot... If you clean your lashes it's like population control for the eye mites.
So yes, I recommend Mary Kay's Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover!!!
Clinique Lash Power is AWESOME! I never have a problem with flaking or smudging. It goes on and stays on until you wash it off at the end of the day.

Rimmel makes a great eye makeup remover. Cheap, not tested on animals and sold at drugstores. Just dip a Q-tip in then swipe on skin to remove mascara and fine tune any eyeliner.
New York Company and Wet & Wild are cheap, not tested on animals have a decent mascara.
I used to buy the pink bottled mascara w/the green top but they test on animals so I don't anymore.
I love Maybelline Full & Soft and have now worn it for 10 years! I use the waterproof one. I used to wear contact lenses and everything else would bother my eyes, feel stiff, get flaky or smear. This one doesn't have fibers that can flake, the brush is fluffy, and it never looks clumpy. I used to work for Estee Lauder and also worked with numerous make-up artists in TV and film production... so I've tried many, many brands. I've always gone back to this one immediately.
I haven't tried the regular non-waterproof version so I can't attest to it's staying power, but I love, love, love the waterproof one. The only stuff I will use to remove eye make-up is baby oil or M. Kay eye make-up remover. Nothing else will do. Every make-up artist will tell you that baby oil isn't good, but it's worked for me for 20 years and never irritates. The MK remover is the only one that doesn't sting my eyes and works easily without rubbing. I can't use any of the dept. store brands - they are very irritating. P.S. - I don't work for any of the mentioned cosmetics companies! I'm just picky about my eye stuff. :)
I like Mabeline Stileto, doesn't clump and stays all day. It is not good to leave mascara/makeup on for more than one day - it should be taken off gently with remover before you go to bed. Otherwise your lashes will break.
