The Healing Place at Cross Timbers Community Church in Argyle, TX is a great place to find a variety of counseling. It really is not that far from Southlake....

When my husband and I went to counseling I decided to find a male counselor so that my husband wouldn't feel that I was ganging up on him with another woman on my side. I noticed most of the suggestions were females - so you may want to consider a male.

Dr Jonathan Cude was so great and getting us to open up to each other. He gets you and your spouse to communicate and to tell each other what is going on...not just telling the counselor all of your complaints.

if you have insueance get some names of counselors that accept your insurance and then call them and ask questions.

My husband and I go to Dr Linda Pitts. Her office is in Plano right by Ikea. I know this is far. It takes us 1/2 hour from Coppell where we live but it is worth it. I too have see many counselors in my time and she is the best. Most of the stuff I have told my husband already - work is more important than me and the kids, I am always left to disciple because of his schedule etc and she is able to tell him in such a way that he is really trying now.
