Just make sure it doesn't involve candy bars ;)

Plan some things he likes to do...and make it happen. Doesn't take much to make my guy feel loved and cherished...he usually just wants alone time with me. And maybe a yummy dinner.

Have a great Valentine's Day!!

"unusual"... celebrate on Feb 13th, dinner, lingerie, chocolates, a foot rub -whatever - tell him that you don't need some dumb holiday to tell you how to love him. My boyfriend did that for me on our 2nd Valentines together...that was 25years ago, he has been my husband for the last 20!

I've done things like put those clingy hearts all over my husbands car windows so when he comes out of the house or out of work he will see them. Have a balloon bouquet or flowers sent to his office..take a picture of a red thong and tell him you will be wearing it and waiting for him...buy a lot of cards and place them all over for him to find....that's all I can think of right now...good luck!

It's hard to answer your question without knowing more about him and what he likes.

What do you consider "the usual"?

I am going to assume your not looking for pole dancing lessons or how to do sex tricks from the chandelier lol.

Here are some ideas. things we have done that turned out to be a lot of fun. Go to one of those places like painted penguin and make a special thing for your future home.

go out to dinner and something totally cheesy like couples bowling. Go for a picnic if its not cold where you are.

I would skip the big hoop dee doo things as in the grand scheme of things valentines day is only a hallmark holiday. not one of the true biggies like christmas. If you don't set the expectations to high then can never be dashed.
