Pump It Up and The Jump Zone have open sessions different days of the week. It is a wonderful way for kids to run and spend all that energy. Adults are free and children are $7 or $8.
Ok, we are going stir crazy. I am looking for some fun inexpensive things to do. I am so tired of Chuck E Cheese and McDonalds. I live in the Worth, Chicago Ridge Oak Lawn area. When it gets a little warmer we can do the zoo thing. Any ideas on what I can do with my 4 year old son?

go to citypass.com and check out the 2008 discount days. A lot of the Museum and down town stuff have free days in the winter.
Hi C.- for a change of pace, you should definately take advantage of free days that many museums offer throughout Chicago. Since it's still cold, you might also try checking out outdoor ice skating rinks (check the Chicago Park District website for locations) or hills for sledding. Your local library should also have fun kids programs and story time available as well.
Good luck!
Chicago Ridge Mall has a little mini indoor playground, a train, and a merry-go-round as well as a movie theater. Not fantastic, but it is close to you and inexpensive. At least it gets you out of the house.
