I do exactly what Robin does - bake something and give him a card with $20, thanking him for his service.
Although, now I am wondering if he'd prefer to bring mail to Riley's house instead of ours.
How much do you tip your mailman for Christmas? For a nice, familiar, neighborhoody one who would pick it up in your box.

I usually make our regular mailman a small batch of cookies/ peppermint bark and leave him a card with 20.00 in it.
I gave ours a bottle of Glenlivet
I'm doing a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card, though wonder if I should do more...interested to see the responses.
We always give him a card that says thanks and merry christmas along with $10 and a small bag of some homemade candy. we leave the same thing for him, our recycle guy and the garbage guy.
Anything you give him/her would be greatly appreciated I'm sure. Wish I had extra funds this year to do something like that. My dad gives the trash guys nice warm work gloves and tiny bottles of whiskey. My parents' house is the only one on the whole block that the trash guys will bring the cans all the way from the street to the house after emptying them, lol!
We're giving some chocolate bars this year.... In past years we have given candy, cookies and even gift cards. Never received a thank you once.
