I have that type pain, lower right side, very close to the pelvic area. The pain comes and goes, and it is too low for me to believe it has anything to do with my ovaries. I also have a problem with my right hip, leg, foot down to the toes bothering me, usually around the same time I feel the adombinal pain.
When I started having trouble flexing my foot, I finally went to have it checked. The MRI came back showing I have a large cyst on the right side of my S1 disk. I believe that I will sometimes do something that irritates this cyst and it will cause pressure on my sciatic nerve. This is what is causing the problems with my right-side. Pinched nerves can make us feel pain in many areas.
I haven't done anything about having this cyst removed; I just live with it. My neurologist didn't recommend any treatment, one way or the other. If I ever get to the point where I can't flex my foot enough to drive a car, I suppose I'll have the motivation then to pursue doing something.
