Hi, my daughter has a "Wendy Bellisimo" lovey that is fantastic! It's small enough to fit into a diaper bag and take with us in the car and she rests her little head on it every night in her crib. (She's 2 years old). I am now expecting a son soon and have tried to find this same "lovey" but they are no longer made. I know that "Baby Star" makes little "mini lovey security blankets" -- does anyone else know of another company that makes them? I'm just looking for a 'mini blanket' lovey, NOT one with an animal or something attached to it on top (like a mini bear or monkey sewn into the mini blanket) I've checked Ebay, Amazon, BRU and other on-line places.... I don't a used one though. Does anyone know of a specific company (such as "Baby Star") that specializes in small lovey's that don't have an animal attached to it? Thank you for your suggestions!
My daughter is 2.5 yrs old and has carried her little blanket since she was 10 months. Hers is made by Little Giraffe. They are soo soft and are lined with silk which she loves to rub. We got hers as a gift but I have seen this brand at baby boutiques. Also ebay! Good luck!
you will problably find out that the next baby might not even like the same type.. my two children were so different.. my son had a woo wee.. his blanket... he loved it.. and my daughter could care less.. she didn't get attached to anything like that... good luck.. but don't go crazy looking for something particular.. each child is different.. so look for something.. and if you like it.. buy it... good luck

The lovey my son has is his choice... the one my daughter has, is hers.
Just wait and see.
My son loves his stuffed cow from Gymboree. My daughter, loves her Eeyore... which an Aunt gave her.
Both my kids, "chose" their own lovey. Not anything I picked out literally, for them. They have TONS of stuffed animals/blankies... but they chose their own, and got attached to their own choice.

my son has a taggie blanket.. they come in 2 sizes 12 x 12 square.. and 18 x 18 square..
you can buy them online.. (amazon) or ebay.. also I heard that buy buy baby has them ..
nice size easy to wash..
Have you tried ebay and some of the on-line baby boutiques?
My oldest had one, super soft, from Little Giraffe. Just brown on one side, baby blue on the other side, about the size of a napkin at a formal restaurant. It was the same material as regular blankets, with the satin around the edges.
Also, try mymannablanky.com and see if she makes miniblankets. I LOVE her regular size blankies and I'm sure she could probably do something custom for your child if you'd like.
