L.L.
I use Lubriderm w/ SPF 15 and Olay Daily something or other w/ SPF 15. I'm happy with both, though the Olay especially needs reapplication if you sweat or anything. The Lubriderm smells a bit like sunscreen, but I don't notice it anymore.
I will be moving to Arizona and would like a facial lotion (or all body lotion would be fine too) that already has sunscreen/spf in it so I don't have worry about putting more for when we are outside (don't worry, I realize if you are outside for a while you need to reapply anyways). Also, sunscreen is so oily, so I'd like something better for my face. I remember in the past I have seen some foundation that have spf too--any suggestions on that would be great too. But I can't spend a ton of money, so no high-end products please. Thanks!

Olay! I love it and couldn't get through the day without it, and feel better my face is protected. They have 3 different kinds. I get the oily/combination and can only find it at WalMart. They also have sensitive and normal.
Good luck!
I have found two product that work. I used to use one by L'oreal and I loved it because it had an SPF of 15 and made for oily skin. The last time I went to find this in the store I could not. Now I am using one by Nutrogena with a SPF of 15, too. It is designed for people with oily skin and I have been happy with it. I am also on a "tight" budget and both products were around 10-15 dollars.
I love Rocky Mountain Sunscreen (www.rmsunscreen.com). The sunscreen isn't oily or have that weird sticky feeling; it feels like lotion. We bought a giant container of it and fill up little bottles to keep in cars, backpakcks, etc. Good luck.
i like Lubriderm as a body lotion. my husband puts it on his face, and it doesn't irritate my kids' faces either, but my face is more oily so i use Oil of Olay.
Make sure you don't use a sunscreen with Mineral oil. FC5 has a day lotion with SPF 20 for $25. It should last a few months so very economical. We also have a Anti-Aging Sunblock for Face with SPF 15 for $20 and one for face and body with 30 SPF for $20. I grew up in Iowa in high humidity and had troubles when first moving to Colorado. Arbonne is the only thing my skin loves. I even had it tested via natural doctor and a Body Scan and Arbonne rated high. Make sure it a PABA type sunscreen with no artifical fragrances or animal by-products.
Have fun in Arizona!
Congrats and good luck in AZ! I actually just moved up here from there. Vaseline has an all over body lotion that has spf 15. It's just normal body lotion in their white bottle with a blue top, Vaseline Intensive Care. It's pretty obvious the one that has SPF. I actually bought it a while ago and it was a new thing, so not many others had SPF yet. I'm sure there are more now, but I liked vaseline because it DIDN'T smell like sunscreen. It smelled like lotion. As far as facial moisturizers and foundations, my experience has been that most of them had some sort of spf in them already. At least in AZ. I actually haven't had to buy one here yet because I haven't run out of mine. As far as sunscreen, there's a brand called Hawaiian Tropic that makes an "oil free faces" version which I LOVED. It's in a white bottle with a light blue pump top (at least it was last time I bought it), and can be found with the other sunscreens. My skin has always been very sensitive, and my face would break out if I just THINK about putting something on it! Okay, maybe not just think about it, but it seriously would break out at anything. This facial sunscreen worked wonders and was very light, non-oily and didn't affect my face at all. And it worked. It's SPF 35, I think. Anyway... hope those suggestions help. Good luck!
www.marykay.com/pjlancaster makes an Age-Fighting moisturizer with spf 15 in it. It is lightweight and non greasy and lasts a very long time! It has no fillers or extenders in it so you use just a dime sized amount to cover your whole face/neck. Usually lasts 6-8 months. MK also has a tinted moisturizer with spf 20 for $18.
usually facial lotions do have an spf, and foundation too. Equate lotion is supposed to be like olay, and I really like it. It's about 5 dollars and I use such a small amount it lasts for months. I think it's spf 15. I think Neutragena's facial sunblock isn't oily.
I use Olay brand, and their daytime face lotion has SPF 15. They have a more expensive anti-aging line, but I just use their regular stuff and I think the lotion with SPF is about $6. I use it on my face, neck and chest everyday and put it on any exposed body parts when I'm wearing short sleeve shirts or shorts. I've used this particular brand for over 10 years now and still like it.
I really like Olay Total Effects moisturizers - they make one with SPF 15 sunscreen, and it comes in both tinted and regular. Great for the money, and you can find them anywhere!
Neutrogena have a moisturizer that has a SPF of 15, it might even be 20. They also do a tinted moisturizer with an SPF in it. I have used them in the past and have been pleased with their products. I now use Mary kay only because I have a rep and I can get all my products in one place.
I hope this helps and good Luck with the move!
Hi,
Don't waste your cash - it's more humid there than it is here, so you won't need lotion nearly as much as you think you will. Also it is so hot in the summer that everyone stays inside hugging the AC.
Really, take a look when you get there, white people are still white as can be. I would recommend get a ton of sunglasses for when you drive, and just get used to toting water with you when you go out. Have a great time! Don't miss out on Joes BBQ in Gilbert, or Oreganos (across the street) for deep dish pizza.
Cetaphil makes a great one, SPF 15 without fragrance. It's available in grocery/drug stores. I personally use it year round and love it's texture. Good luck finding one that works well for you!
oil of olay has a mosturizer with spf and it is inexpensive.
I've really liked Neutragena's Healthy Defense (30 spf). I tried other types from them and this is the best. About $12-13 but it can last a while and works great!
In a pinch, I've used Aveeno's daily moisturizer and while I like it, I thought it was way more greasy than Neutragena.
I really like the Garnier Fructis anti-sun damage face lotion. It has spf 28, is not greasy, and has a nice smell(does not smell like sunscreen). I give it a 2 thumbs up!
You are so smart to be wanting sunscreen. Most women dont realize we should protect our face from the sun 365 days a year!!
I've tried a lot of sunscreens over the years and since I have very oily skin I need something light. So I absolutely LOVE Mary Kay's. They have a facial sunscreen/anti-ager, a facial lotion with sunscreen, a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen, and also sunscreen for the body as well. I've used them for two year, hardly ever burned (Lagoon was burn-free, Bear Lake I did get some of a burn, but I did't reapply). And since Arizona is one of the 5 driest states, moisturizer is helpful too.
You can find a consultant by going to www.marykay.com and click on "shop with a consultant" then enter your zip code and it will direct you to a good consultant. Or, you can contact me directly, as I am also a consultant (there are no territories, so even after you move to Arizona you can work with the same consultant - I just ship the products, and so do most other consultants)
Neutrogena makes a sunscreen specifically for faces. They've also got great lotions with sunscreen in it that will be good for your face & body. You'll want a little oil, btw, in the dry climate.
Have fun in AZ!
I live in Utah and I really like Cetaphil® Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 with Parsol® 1789. It's less than $10 for a big jar (8 oz. or so) that lasts me at least 4 months. Plus it's not thick or oily at all.
I use Oil of Olay with SPF15...it is like $4 a bottle.
Hi M.! I used to live in Arizona too. I am a Mary Kay consultant and I love our Timewise moisterizer with sunscreen. You can look at the facts about it on my webpage at www.marykay.com/ascifres
Have a great day and blessings on your move!
Estee Lauder Daywear
Neutrogena's Healthy Defense spf 15 with a light tint. It's a moisturizer, sunscreen, and foundation all in one. I've been using it forever and it does a great job!
