My son wanted to keep them. He's got a box he decorated himself. He's got genetically weak teeth we've worked hard to keep in there as long as they need to. I think he can keep them if he wants to ;)
Yesterday my 5 year old noticed her first wiggly tooth and today it is out. Wow I thought I had more time. Anyway she put it under her pillow and we gave her $2. But my biggest question is what do you do with the teeth??? I know people keep them. My mom did too. When I found them as a teenager I thought it was gross. I still do kind of but fear that I'll regret throwing them away sooo...
To those that kept them, can you tell me why? (I am not judging, just curious) And what did you do with them?
To those that tossed them, was there a reason other than its gross? And did you ever regret it?
Thanks everyone!

I do not keep them. I just don't see the point. What would I, or my kids do w/ them? There are no memories, they aren't going to be displayed for cuteness. I have never heard of anything lovely that can be done w/ baby teeth.
Throw them out. Many of us have an inherent desire to be senitmental over the silliest of things and teeth shouldn't be one of them ;-). Trading your child for money keeps them from playing with and or swallowing the tooth later and it give the parent a perfect opportunity to toss it. And no I never regretted tossing it.
I only keep the first one. I too found mine in a baby food jar as an older kid and thought, "why???".
I kept my daughters. In a little box in my vanity drawer. It was fun for my daughter to look at them when she was older. I eventually threw them away but it was one of those fun things to do.
I have the first 2 my son lost and plan to keep them all. I'm sentimental. However, I did think it was gross to see my old baby teeth my mom kept, but it wasn't gross to her and my son's won't be gross to me. I keep them in a little box in my drawer.
