Hi,
Have you tried Baby Ph.D.? It's located in Hyde Park in the Harper Square Court. I'm not sure of the exact address but it's close to 53rd Street & Harper Ave. They have great new and used clothes, toys, books, etc. for babies!
I am looking for used childrens clothing stores. I am aware of Once Upon a Child. Does anyone know af any others?

Ebay is always good to buy or sell used clothes. I have gotten really good deals on my son's clothes.
I am looking at Parent Magazine and here are some listings:
Hand Me Downs in Evanston ###-###-####)
Bellie Buttons in St. Charles ###-###-####)
My Sister's Closet in Chicago ###-###-####)
The Second Child in Chicago ###-###-####)
I have not been to any of these so I am not really too sure if they are good or not.

you can p-u a chicago parent magazine, it has some ads in the back has the info. for hand-me-down kind of stores, it's a great magazine and it's free.
Try Salvation Army. There is one in Bridgeview, which is huge!!! Tons of kids clothes CHEAP!
There is another one in the city I know of Around Foster & Milwaukee, not sure f the name. Hope it helps!
I bought some really great items on Ebay, you might check there. There is also a store on Armitage in Lincoln Park called "The Second Child" which sells mainly used clothes.
My Sister's Closet in Edgebrook on Devon - 5413 West Devon Avenue

They have great kids/baby clothes and they constantly get great stuff in!
There is a consignment shop of children's boutique clothing on Armitage near Sheffield - don't know the name - mostly carries older kids (1-6years). Also great for Halloween costumes. Good luck!
