On the off chance you have a "skys the limit" price range (couple - several hundred dollars) you can get DNA art with Nana's & babies.
Just wondering if anyone's given or received a unique Nana gift for Mother's Day. I need ideas! If you've shopped on a specific website, please let m know! It can be jewelry, something for the house, etc. Do you know of any website where you can order personalized jewelry for a nana gift?

When my son was 1, I had him finger pain several pages using the color scheme from my mom's kitchen, then hard laminated them and gave them to my mom as place mats. She loved them, and he still loves to eat off of them and tell everyone how he made them for her (he's 4 now).
The photo websites also have tons of photo-gifts beyond the usual mug and calendar these days. My mom recently started working out again, I'm thinking of getting her (and me :-) ) a metal water bottle with DS's picture on it.

I recently made a photo book using walgreens.com. It turned out great. You can fill it with just pictures and use can add words.
When my girls were little, they made stepping stones for grandma's garden. It was from a kit. Basically just mixing cement putting their handprints in it, and decorating it with colored stones.
Rancho San Antonio's Deer Hollow Farm in Mountain View CA is in jeopardy of closing; they are selling hand-painted gourd bird houses. The proceeds from the sales go toward running the farm and tours.
Here is the pdf with examples:

You will be giving her a one-of-a-kind gift AND helping Deer Hollow Farm as well! And it's a tax-deductible donation.
Hello SH, Since I m called Nana by all my little ones I am always thrilled to hear about anything that reads, says Nana on it= so please let me know of anything like that you find out about.
I will share a few items I have been given: had my poctures taken with the children professionally, a book with photos of events of the family and me, I have my walls covered with pictures so frames are good, and one special sign that reads" Welcome to Nana's kitchen, a place for children to make memories" Good Luck Nana Glenda
Calendar with pictures of the kid(s)...or a grandma necklace with kid's birthstone charms...or start her a Pandora charm bracelet!
Dear S. H.
A few years ago we gave my MIL a Ceiva Photo frame..I think they have come down in price to about $150.00. She loves it. It is a photo frame she keeps at her house and we can download new photos to it anytime. The frame uploads the new photos everyday. We set hers to download at midnight every night, when she is not on the phone. All the recipient needs is a phone jack and a outlet and you can set the rest up on line. You can choose a monthly plan or a yearly plan. The initial cost is a lot more then we would have normally spent but we renew it for her ever year and that is truly the gift that keeps on giving. You can read more about it at www.ceiva.com
We also use Walgreens.com and Snapfish for photo gifts...both are great sites!
