Looking for Safe Children's Play Makeup

I think the stuff about nail polish is fooy, I mean I probably chewed off more polish in my early teens and never got big boobies because of it, hee hee.
Most kid stuff is non toxic. Go to Toys R US or even Target. I know my daughter loves to play with that stuff too and I was a worried parent big time. I just make sure it states non toxic and from a company that I am familiar with. Disney has some great stuff for girls to play with too.
I polish my almost seven year old with regular polish as she doesn't chew on her nails anymore, but when she was younger they had wash off pretend polish.

I know a fair amount about ingredients and have never come across a hormone in any nail polish, if there is a chemical in a certain polish that can turn into a hormone when ingested then the amount that your DD would be exposed to would be so small that there really isn't any need to concern yourself. Polish also tastes pretty bad, she may be chewing the polish off but I doubt that very much of it is actually getting into her system. Any children's makeup has to be made to be able to be ingested because it's so common for little one to eat it so you can really go with any children's brand you want, you can also make some of it yourself if you want with household items and then you're really sure that what they are playing with is safe. I couldn't give you brand names but the childrens make up you find in most store is non-toxic and safe, lord knows my little ones eat enough of the older ones make-up especialy their flavored chap sticks and lip glosses. As to nail polish I have never heard that and paint my kids nails from the moment they are old enough to ask, even my 19 month old son had his painted by his oldest sister, she just made sure they were dry before he got off her lap, I just asked that the next time he ask's and she feels the urge to do it to pick a color other then bright pink/red :). I have 7 kids 4 boys and 3 girls and have no complaints about what I have come across.
