I recommend Primrose schools. We love it, but it's more expensive than what you're looking for. They may work with you and charge half days, but I'm not sure. $10 a day isn't much at all, like the others have said. I'm not sure how trusting I would be of someone who would watch my child for only $10 a day. You have found quite the deal with what you have right now. I wish I could be of more help, but you may try to work out something in your budget in case you have to pay more. I wish you all the luck on finding the right place. http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Child_Care/Search_Texas_Child... will help you check out child care facilities.

Your best bet would be a in home daycare because most of them don't charge as much possibly $15-$30 a day and there is more one on one care.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.
you might want to try Craigslist

I agree with the other moms, $10 a day for an infant is very little. With that price do not expect to find a safe childcare for your son.

Not sure in home will charge $15-$30/day. Any reputable, licensed in home day care charges as much (or a little less) than a day care center. If you find someone to care for your child for $10/day, you're taking a big risk that you'll end up on the news like those other couples who left their children with unlicensed and untrained people and now are grieving the loss of their child.
