Hello I'm a 35 year old stay at home mom with one little 17 month old Boy - we currently just moved to the Concord area from Washington DC. We left a playgroup of 9 SAHM and amazing friends for my little guy. Is there any playgroups out there that we could join? We would really appreciate it and would love to be part of something or any advice on where to go to meet other SAHM? Thanks so much for you time I really appreciate it.
Check out Meetup.com for playgroups in or near your area. I am an organizer for a group in Marlborough. Not sure how close/far that is to Concord... I am assuming probably quite a ways, but I am sure you could find some groups out your way through Meetup.com.

google your local "moms club" - stand for Moms Offering Moms Support. there are chapters aeverywhere, there is a small yearly fee to join, and there are tons of playgroups, events, monthly meetings, moms night out, etc. Lots and lots of resources!

I'm a member of Bitchin' Mamas! through Meetup.com. It's a large group with so many activities (at least 1 a day every day of the week) and all that I have attended have been great. Highly recommended!

I live in Concord and have a 4 year old and an almost 3 year old. Check out concordfamilynetwork.org. They are running a Winter Play Space for the next few months at the Hunt Gym. It is free for members and is drop-in. Last Friday there were 13 families there! They are also about to launch a new playgroup program based on the year your child will be entering kindergarten (I just drafted the email to members).
