Hello all!! I am interested in getting a community garden going. Any takers??? I am willing to clear a spot in my yard..not sure how big I should make it the first year. I am looking for:, people to share their passions for gardening, people who want to learn, people who are willing to get their hands dirty and take home the crops!! Looking to can, freeze, create and share in the harvest if we want to take it beyond the crops!! Let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you!!

Sounds like a great idea! I only have enough space for a little garden - a few tomatoes and peas or beans. Where are you located and how much space are you thinking about?
What a great idea! I would be interested depending on where it is I guess. I love the idea of being with other women and working in the earth. I'll stay tuned to see what response you get.
I grew up with a huge garden but now I have a very shady yard full of wild creatures! I would love to be involved in a community garden. I work very part time and am in Cedar Springs. Where are you? Please keep me in mind if you decide to start this project.

That is so funny, I had a daydream the other day that I had a house and started a community garden...it was a wonderfully fabulous daydream!
I would be interested depending on location and we might (hopefully) be moving out of our apartment this summer, to where I do not know.

I would love to have a vegetable/herb garden. I use to have a large garden in Texas. My yard here is so shadded I can only do a small patch of herbs. Plus I have deer. Love to watch them ahte them eating my produce. I'd love to have my kids involved as well. Let me know if you get enough interest.
PS-I LOVE COFFEE too!
