Looking for One OB That Delivers All Babies.

I also HIGHLY recommend Dr. Brass-Jones. There were a few reasons why I chose her, but the fact that there isn't a whole team of doctors in her practice was a big one.

I just had my third baby. I am a patient at Valley women for women. I had a previous loss and met my doctor as she was telling me Ilost the baby. She was fantastic. When I got pregnant again I said..why cant i just see you each time? She said you can..just tell them you can only see me. ( i did have to see one other doc cause mine was on vacation) I never got bumped cause she was at the hospital or not in that day. So while this is a large practice I know you can just alwasy request to see the same doc. It did make it hard at times to get the exact date I want my appt..but I alwasy got to see MY doc. I am not sure what they do during labor..since I had a planned c section. Give it a try. The office is great. The doctor is Dr. Mia Van eken. they are just next to Mercy Gilbert. Dr. Clint Leonard does all of his own deliveries, at least as far as I know. This has always been his practice in the past.

You might want to consider a home birth midwife. We see all of our own clients for an hour at each visit, usually with no wait time. Barring some sort of unforeseen emergency, we deliver all of our own clients. We offer all the same testing as a standard OB, but we thoroughly educate our clients about each test, what it means for their healthcare, and what choices and alternatives they have.

Dr. Tamar Gottfried is at Gilbert/Southern and she is a great doctor. There are no nurse practitioners, none of the getting shuffled from one doc to another. I go to her, my mom went to her (before my mom passed away) and I've recommended her to others who ended up changing their docs midway through their pregnancies to go to her.
She is local - graduated from a valley high school, went to medical school at UofA, etc.
AND she is a mom herself, so she's been in our shoes! :)

I completely understand your frustration! For my son I used a practice that had 4 docs...only one of which seemed to be interested in what I had to say. When it came time to deliver me, it was a complete stranger who I'd never met b/c my docs where owed on call time. I have a terrible delivery story that I won't go into, but it left me in search of a new OBGYN.
I am now pregnant with number two and I am seeing Dr. Brass-Jones. I absolutely love her and the True Harmony office. Her office is at Country Club and Baseline and she delivers at Banner Gateway. I highly recommend her! Plus I know 2 maternity ward nurses who also love her, both of which chose her as their doctors when they had babies.
I also advertise my photography out of her office and have photographed many of her patients. I have yet to find somebody who isn't totally satisfied with the care they recieved from Dr. Brass.

I absolutely love Dr. DeAnna Bullaro-Anderer she is amazing. Unfortuntly she is located in Mesa near Banner Gateway Hospital. But she just went on her own to ensure care with her and only her. If you want a truely awesome relationship with the person who will deliver your baby go with Stephanie Soderblom she is a homebirth midwife. She is avaiable to you night or day call, text email she's there to answer your questions and she reaaly knows her stuff. I had my worst experience at Dr. Christine Brass-Jones' office. I always had to wait at least 30 minutes for every appointment. Her office staff is not friendly and extremely unprofessional. They didn't bill my insurance ontime so I had to pay for my annual exam out of pocket. I could go on and on. I went there for 2 years and I will never set foot in that office again!

Hi J., I just had a baby six weeks ago and have an awesome OB/GYN, Dr. Christine Brass-Jones near Country Club and Baseline. The practice is called True Harmony ###-###-####. She delivers all of the babies and you alternate seeing her and her PA. I can not say enough good things about this practice, they treat the whole woman. She delivers at Banner Gateway, which was also a wonderful experience. The rooms were large and the baby stayed with me the whole time we were in the hospital.
