i am looking for a new pediatrician in the east meadow, bellmore, levittown area. i currently have a pediatrician who i like very much but the 20 minute drive and long waits, and rude staff just doesnt work for me. i would appreciate any feedback. someone has mentioned prokids in levittown on wantagh ave and pediatric healthcare of li in bellmore on merrick rd. has anyone heard of or use these pediatricians.i am looking for a CLEAN well kept office that has sick and/or newborn rooms,also draw blood in office. thanx in advance

Congrats on your pregnancy! I take my son to Dr. Zaso in East Meadow and we love him! I tried 2 other doctors before him and he was the best by far. It is a solo practice, I am not sure if that matters to you. He is located next to the NY sports club.
We've used prokids for many years & are now searching for a new doctor. We've gotten tired of the revolving door of doctors in the practice & no one really knows our kids. Dr. Drucker, one of the senior doctors there, is not pleasant at all & always makes me feel stupid with her condescending looks & tone of voice. The other doctors are nice, but like I said, there have been so many changes in staff over the years that no one has gotten to know our kids. The other responses you received mentioned doctors that we will be looking in to since they have been highly recommended by people we know. Good luck!

My cousin takes her kids to Prokids and I was there last night for a Pre-natal interview and the office was clean and there was seperate rooms for sick and well kids. LI Peds Healthcare my neighbors use them and they speak very highly of them. I hope this was helpful and goodluck with the new baby.

I LOVE my pediatrician. I have 2 kids, ages 17 and 8, and I switched to them when my son was about 5 months old. They are a 3 person practice called Pediatric Associates in Plainview. Dr. Nayor is my favorite, but all 3 are good. I live in Levittown and it is only about 10 minutes away. Seriously, I have referred EVERYBODY to them. They are so caring and thorough, and really try to get to the bottom of what's going on with your child. They never blow you off, and they have night and Saturday hours. Their # is ###-###-####.

We go to Oppenheimer, marchitelli, Korn & Fasano in bellmore. ###-###-#### I drive all the way from Garden City there. They are all great!! They have all you asked for except for the blood work.
